My wayward sibling

My wayward sibling
Sudden in arrival
Abrupt in departure
Promptly came
on days hard as stone
Unwrapped
my fistful of woes
I survived lovers’
goodbyes
To eternity
he took me
for rainwashed walks
He opened the day
to the scent of frangipani
Now he leaves
His goodbye
gnaws the evening

  1. This poem reminded me of "September gi awowba leichil"-quite sudden and abrupt
